Our Story
We built the trips we wanted to take.
Go Adventure Co is a camper van rental company based in Lincoln, California, offering premium adventure vans for rent throughout Northern California.
We started Go Adventure Co for a straightforward reason: we wanted to take van trips to Yosemite, the Eastern Sierra, and the Redwood Coast, and we couldn't find rentals that were genuinely built for those destinations. Most rental vans were converted cargo vans — nice enough for pavement, but not what you want when the campsite is ten miles down a forest service road.
So we found two vans that are actually built for it: a 2023 Winnebago Revel 44E and a 2024 Storyteller Overland Beast MODE. Both sit on the Mercedes-Benz Sprinter chassis with genuine off-road capability. Both are fully equipped for multi-day off-grid use. Both have been personally vetted on the roads and campgrounds we recommend to our renters.
We're owner-operated. When you rent from us, you're dealing with the people who own and maintain the vans — not a fleet manager three states away. The vans are prepped the same way we'd prep them for our own trips: fully charged batteries, fresh linens, full fresh water tank, gear in working order, nothing left to chance.
We're based in Lincoln, CA, which puts renters about 30 miles northeast of Sacramento and within easy reach of every major NorCal destination. Yosemite is three hours. Lake Tahoe is 90 minutes. The Eastern Sierra trailheads are an easy morning drive.

2023 Winnebago Revel 44E
El Capitan
Named for the Yosemite granite monolith that draws climbers and dreamers from around the world. El Capitan is our go-anywhere van — compact enough to fit where larger rigs can't, capable enough to get where the trail ends and the real camping begins. The Revel's 4WD system has proven itself on roads we weren't sure we'd make it through, and the diesel heater keeps it comfortable at 9,000 feet in October.

2024 Storyteller Overland Beast MODE
Denali
Named for Alaska's highest peak — a place that rewards preparation and punishes half-measures. Denali is our gear-hauler, built for renters who arrive with bikes, boards, or a full kit of climbing equipment. The rear garage keeps everything organized and out of the living space. Sleeps three when needed. The kind of van you choose when the adventure is the destination.

We own and maintain both vans. You're not renting from an aggregator — you're renting from the people who chose these vans, know every quirk, and have driven every road we recommend. That's a different level of accountability.
Mechanically Sound
Maintained like ours.
Both vans are serviced on Mercedes-Benz's recommended schedule. We don't defer maintenance and we don't rent vans that we wouldn't drive ourselves. Everything is checked before every rental.
NorCal Native
We know these roads.
Our destination guides are based on trips we've taken in these exact vans. We know which campgrounds fill first, which forest service roads are rough, and which seasons are best for each area. That knowledge is part of every rental.
